Why was the picture in >>>/r/3737 deleted? It wasn't pornographic and there's no rule against random anime pictures on /r/.

Rule nine is as follows: >If you must post it, spoiler any NSFW content and make sure it's relevant to the discussion. Some disagree as to what constitutes Not-Safe-For-Work imagery and so this is under consideration to be replaced with something more specific. Regardless, the image was considered to be sexually explicit and certainly had no reasonable relation to the discussion. Feel free to post the image in this thread if a more detailed explanation is wanted.

Now, there's three primary issues with using this image in that context: it's clearly sexually suggestive, at the very least, and isn't what I would consider to be neutral material, whereas the image you started this thread with clearly isn't sexually charged in much any way; secondly, you didn't use a spoiler for this material; thirdly and lastly, there's no reason for that material to be posted in the first place. That /r/ thread concerns educating children and you post a sexual image of what appears to be a child; that's not appropriate.
