Ostensibly, yes, but there's a very fine line between discussing another imageboard and advertising one in violation of rule seven. Creating a thread specifically dedicated to such a small and barren imageboard is considered to very clearly violate rule seven. Writing out ``We do not mean to be competition, just some alternative to browse as well.'' doesn't change this.

The issues are multiple with this particular site. Not only is it very barren, but almost every board covers a topic already covered by Lainchan and so it seems clear that this is merely trying to obtain users. Again, that's not to write that linking to another imageboard or large site is necessarily okay, but it's more likely to be okay. There's less reason to believe a popular website is merely being advertised. Before this thread, we didn't even have reason to believe it wasn't an automated posting. >Sounds like double standards to me. Ultimately, these rules are interpreted by human beings. With that written, consistency is strived for where reasonable. You'll be happy to know that, when similarly small sites and groups and whatnot create vapid threads only meant to advertise, they are also deleted.

We are trying to do something different. I thought other chans are the perfect place, and should be supportive for any movement and flow of ideas, especially lainchan, that is focused on human development. At least that's how things are done in polish chans.

Once again I will say that our cha is completely different and we didn't think of taking lainchan, 420chan or solid chans users for good, because we know you cater to specific needs, we just wanted to do something different that wasn't done before, and invite people from some more reasonable chans to browse us as well if they would be into it.

not sure if this is a case of waking up or a case of a depleted outlook but there are no more social outlets on the internet that are exciting. I don’t know how to waste time on the internet anymore. Every site just reminds me of all the insecurities at play to converse instead of take action. It’s as if the only tool you’ve known really mutilated you every time you’ve touched it, yet it’s the only thing you know that solved alleged things. The problems are out of scope now.
