Kalyx has spoken
XERXES · 2017-04-17 19:01
Attention is literally the only thing he wants. The less he gets, the better.
Trinity · 2017-04-17 19:01
Well at least it would describe the contents of the site pretty accurately.

YOu know what. Nobody would mind what the .jp people did if only they didn't take the same name.
Zero Cool · 2017-04-20 12:21
>>1626 They barely have more than 100 posts in 3 days. You people give it too much credit, at this point the best thing to do is just ignore them. Or go there, if you prefer. Doom and gloom posts are more annoying than the whole .jp staff and userbase.
Nobody special · 2017-04-20 16:22
https://lainchan.jp looks great
Case · 2017-04-20 23:07
>>1663 I suggest we filter that url. people simply post it hoping for clicks. You dont see me walking around typing out 4chung.orb/g/
vantablack · 2017-04-21 00:32
>>1685 That's just adding more gasoline to the trash fire of the Chan Wars.
Leto Atreides I · 2017-04-21 02:48
>>1685 Agreed. For at least some time we should filter out .jp links, Kalyx's name, and whatever else would avoid soykaf like this to keep brewing.

We have enough filters, they're intrusive enough as it is.

Anamika · 2017-04-21 11:36
>>1685 Or just focus on using lainchan.org, making interesting threads, and in general contributing. That is what will actually keep lainchan.jp dead, not filtering the url and kalyx, though that would be amusing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Hkn-LSh7es

>>1715 >>.jp's first affiliate is 0ch, a socialist antifa supporting website >anarchism is socialist ? It's almost like you didn't even look into the site, and instead just look at the catalog thumbnails. >Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder who could be behind these posts. What are you talking about exactly?
J.C. Denton · 2017-04-21 17:44
>>1715 The problem with conspiracy theorists is that they do not use reality as a valid parameter, nor arguments as a means of discussion. Quite tiresome.
Judge Fang · 2017-04-21 17:47
>>1715 >.jp's first affiliate is 0ch, a socialist antifa supporting website Disgusting. I don't support antifa authoritarian thugs. As I said in my post, No.1710, the focus should largely be ignoring the .jp glitterboys and just continuing on. I'm not really against filtering .jp, so long as it's done in an amusing manner.

https://www.lainchan.org/q/res/1346.html#q1715 There is a difference between filtering things for fun and for furthering some kind of agenda.
The Phantom Phreak · 2017-04-21 17:51
Well, I fuarrrked that link up. Btw, see how the filter for fuarrrked, didnt't take away from this post?

Read a website's about page before criticizing it. 2. The INGSOC image is completely relevant to the topic, which was the possible control of information using filters. I honestly don't know why you pointed this out because in Orwell's 1984, INGSOC was anything but socialist. It was an organization that ruled over people and seperated them by class. In fact, Orwell fought in a Marxist militia for socialism during the Spanish revolution, so it doesn't make much sense to pair 1984 and an authoritative socialist government. I honestly think you just looked up "INGSOC" in google and skimmed over the first thing that came up. 3. Spouting da joos when the racist stereotype for the Jews is a greedful person doesn't fit with Socialism, Marxism nor Anarchism (all things discussed) because their purpose and intent is to remove capitalism, which allows for the private accumulation of wealth, money and property, therefore enabling greed. If anything, the racist stereotype of the Jew would be most likely to want a capitalist economic system.

>>1729 There was no main idea. It was a collection of unorganized ideas that was supposed to convey one meaning, but it didn't and instead conveyed multiple, contradicting and wrong ideas.

>>1732 >filters are okay Fast forward. >filter are not okay It's simple English, but instead you're talking all kinds of soykaf like anarchy, the 1984 book, racism, Jews, the capitalist economic system, and all this other garbage. Who looks stupid now?

>>1727 The idea that it doesn't make sense to pair 1984 and authoritarian socialism is bizarre. If you ignore the part of the book about Stalinism, what's left? The part about wartime England I guess. Everyone knows Orwell was a leftist, but he felt betrayed by the Soviet Union, and by his fellow socialists who continued to support the Soviet Union into the 40s.
Roy Batty · 2017-04-21 18:51
>>1735 Yeah, 1984 was pretty heavy-handed in being about Stalinism, although I do think there's a distinction to be made between most forms of socialism and Stalinism, especially with how many people felt that Stalin betrayed what Lenin had worked for(coughTrotskycough). Anyway, I think >>1715 was saying that the anti-filter people are infiltrators from 0ch, and >>1727 thought it was trying to connect 0ch and INGSOC, misread it as being a generally conspiracy-jews-etc post, and (correctly) pointed out that 0ch isn't a socialist website. There's room for agreement here.
