Podcast Thread

I'm surprised there isn't a single thread about podcasts. What podcasts do you listen to lainon, if any?
Right now I listen to JRE, but I want to listen to more podcasts, especially tech or cybersecurity related. If any lainons know any good ones please share.

For tech/cybersecurity: CYBER, Darknet Diaries, Defensive Security Podcast, Hacking Humans, Malicious Life, and The Privacy Security & OSINT Show are all good.
There's a ton of podcasts worth listening, but it's hard to just recommend anything without more specification of what you're looking for; long-form, banter, news, games, esoterica, philosophy, fiction, true life, politics, music, true crime, history, comedy, economics, crypto, etc etc...

Lefty stuff:
TrueAnon (the only anti-paedophile podcast availabl)
Revolutionary Left Radio (communist discussions and interviews)
The Conditional Release Program Podcast (Australian podcast about cooked Qanon cunts etc)
The Minyan (Jewish Marxist-Leninists)
Chapo Trap House (you know this one - a few episodes here and there)
Techy stuff:
General Intellect Unit (lefty discussions about techy stuff)
Darknet Diaries ('tales from the dark side of the Internet')
Corecursive (interviews with programmers and software engineers all over the industry)
MalwareTech Podcast (cyber security)
Other stuff:
Lorehammer (Warhammer 40K podcast)
Philosophize This (philosophy)
The Grade Cricketer (cricket)
Duncan Trussel Family Hour (pleasant interviews with new age-y people - not usually my cup of tea but these ones are nice)
I sometimes listen to heaps of podcasts, and sometimes I ignore them for weeks - but they are great to pass the time while driving, cleaning, walking, doing other chores, etc.

Looks like we have pretty similar taste, so I'll share some of my faves.
TrashFuture: Funny look at cursed technology (A bit like a techchapo)
Srsly Wrong: Anarchists investigate the world through the medium of short comedy sketches
Corner Späti: Cursed happenings in Europe (a bit like a Eurochapo)
QAnonAnonymous: Looking at cooked QAnon cunts etc.
American Prestige: Cursed happenings in the declining US empire
Hardcore History: 4+ hour long episodes, deep history dives. Paywalled, but you can torrent the back catalog.
Bungacast: Lefty academics debate theory from their ivory tower
Eat The Rich: Looking at the cursed individuals running late stage capitalism
Thinking Allowed: The BBC's sociology podcast
Short Cuts: Little clips, sounds and radio plays; kinda hard to describe

'This Machine Kills' is pretty good; deep analysis of all the ways bit tech blows

No Agenda is great too.

Not OP, but gimmie some tunes! Whatcha listening to? Critics? Dj?
Dox · 2022-03-24 17:48
I stopped listening to JRE when he went to spotify. I don't care about him selling out so much as I don't use spotify and I'm not willing to go that far out of my way to tune in.
Any lainchan dick heads?

I typed a lengthy reply to two of your posts with suggestions of podcasts for you guys and the automod keeps rejecting it, telling me to "make a better post". Fcuk this website.

There's a character limit for posts, so if it happens again split it up. I suggest for imageboards in general to also copy/paste your post into notepad or something in case the site nukes it trying to reply.

Honestly the only one I know is This Week in Chiptune. Also Midnight Snacks does a crazy variety of stuff, but it's not on any podcatcher. The archive is extensive though, over 700 mixes available for download to date. I would love to know more music podcasts (particularly DJ mixes) as well if Lain got any suggestions.

It wasn't that long compared to some posts I can see right now. Generally just sick of the stupid filters, censorship and automated robot "quality control" around here. This is THE most heavily moderated website I've ever been on that wasn't corporate or commercial or whatever.
