What i listen these days oscillate between Dreamcore (nothing in particular) and the sweet melodies of Tatsuro Yamashita Sometimes i listen to Zutomayo or Kinó, too. btw, is everyone here actually listening to music in .mp3 format? i'm used to have all my music library offline, and having most songs in .flac feels like the right thing to do; Vynil/CD rips in a loosless format feels like the best option to actually make music sound as it should.

I don't like soykafting on people for being new to a genre but I really wish people would drop the idea of sewerslvt and similar artists being breakcore. Just because a track has an amen break in it does not make it breakcore. I have never heard of these genre defining artists, thanks! Plus, a majority of these songs (especially machine girl) contain loud annoying synths which completely separate my sense of rhythm from the drums. Ambiance is also inadequate in a majority of these tracks, they are well mixed, but simple in terms of atmosphere provided. Sewerslvt simply provides me a more rhythmically complex ambient experience.

That depends, I have different ost for different vibes in my life. In a neutral state some future funk is always great Desired is my favourite in that regard, but check out other composers too Used to listen to this album daily because it started and finished right about when I started and finished my commute https://youtu.be/VWfrl1MpMT4 PS also check out the 80s Japanese city pop that's used as the source for future funk, there are some real good songs in there.

Most often I listen to necro trap (trap metal, torturecore) and breakcore (yo bra wassup i sen 400 gigabyte amen loops "sniff")
Boris Grishenko · 2023-10-03 12:50
I listen to a lot of ISIS, Al Qaeda and jihadi music. I like the feeling of impending doom and evil. I listen to a lot of narco ballads too. Just war music in general.

i do everything with full authenticity an effort, the proposition of "vibe music" amuses me. when i listen to music, i always listen to it psychichly and interpret it properly, such braindead "vibe music" seems to me a waste of time and an insult to the creator.
siphon · 2023-10-04 06:00
for me, many deftones albums makes my daily. i always feel a little more powerful and confident or calm and wistful depending on which album. good rock and metal, my favorite band above anything else, i live and die for deftones at this point when im working or studying, i have a general rock/metal/grunge playlist going. bands like bring me the horizon, chevelle, tool, garbage, mayhem, ice nine kills, jinjer, metallica, nirvana, deftones (of course), kmfdm, stone temple pilots, the smashing pumpkins, etc etc.. i dont really listen to the music when im studying but i do when i work. its good background noise for my stimulant-deprived adhd brain. helps me focus and get things done, too.
Motoko Kusanagi · 2023-10-05 05:37
speedcore/breakcore mostly if we're talking about genres, but for specific artists I like lapfox (esp. the renard queenston alias), sewerslvt, machine girl, goreshit, loli/rory in early 20s, and death grips. I pretty much listen to whatever sounds good to me, but those are my faves lmao
Faye Valentine · 2023-10-09 08:03
I once saw a squirrel run away from me down several metres of pavemeant whilst listening to this, it was an incredibly intense vibe https://yewtu.be/watch?v=G-PQDF39sr8 >>11643 I had a friend lose a toenail at a Machine Girl show in London. Death Grips and Machine Girl are the only two live acts I've seen and been genuinely concerned for my bodily health. Melt Banana came close but unlike the other two the crowd sometimes took a breather.

>what's your everyday vibe music? I don't have a specific genre to vibe to on the daily, but I do have alot of (ambient) video game soundtracks on my playlist rn. in particular : >Chris Christodoulou - Risk of Rain 2 : SotV (They Might As Well Be Dead) >Lifeformed - TUNIC (This Time Is Different) >Ed Harrison - Neotokyo NSF / GSDF (Imbrium) Other unrelated songs/albums I have in there : >kohu - Miracle Tone's Fantasy (s.r.t.k) >Ta-ku - 25 Nights For Nujabes (Night 22) >La Fanforale du Douzbekistan - Tant que ça roule (Stepil dobri) >koronba - iofnrru Tn zeduaiolqs (Ryegen) >Ars Dada - Dog god (Fear in a Handful of Dust) >KASHIWA Daisuke - Re:RED (EVA) [Got the physical CD for that one recently :)] >Kyogen - Blue Screen EP (Weather break (Layer.2) Bonus : https://yewtu.be/watch?v=-GApX7Z2Fo8 ||Really is just a reminder for myself to download all of this guy's work. He should really open a bandcamp or smth. I'd pay for his work.||
