Do you guys listen to wave/future garage? I've been lurking for a while and I haven't found mentions of any artists, which is weird since I find wave music to be melancholic, isolated, a bit dystopic yet energetic, very cyberpunk in my opinion.

I'm not getting those dark vibes from the songs you shared. Interesting. Guess it depends on the person, maybe I'm edgier than you and my tolerance is higher.
This does give me those vibes though;

What the hell is wave music anyway? I don't understand genres.

Yeah, I think so. The songs you shared are also dark, but I feel them "depressed" rather than "melancholic", and more "haunted" than the ones I shared. The 2nd one was bomb btw

I don't know why they call it "wave", but it encompasses various genres. Its takes the form of electronic music that evokes a "nostalgic" essence that doesn't quite reach "depression" levels. Its "dark" but not "pitch black". Its trance-inducing but not exactly slow-paced. It wants to be depressed but it has a life to it, if that makes sense. Its like the melancholic cousin of witch-house
