>>6560 I've been listening to Tricot since 2015. Great band. They've gotten me into math rock. >>6590 I'm liking the J-core. Umbrella was my favorite J-Rock Shonen Knife https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03jU7hvdelE

>>6568 not him, but I would recommend going on doujinstyle.com and picking those with covers and genres that appeal to you. Most of them have crossfades linked, so you can listen to what an album is going to sound like. It's supposed to be a platform where people link their uploads, but it makes for a good discovery tool.

Shoegaze, maybe? Idk, it sounds pretty "sharp" compared to what I usually associate with shoegaze, but I'm no expert anyway. https://youtu.be/xLLqGseXBTs Lately they've gone pretty pop, which I like too, but this song in particular gets me every time. If anyone has reccs on stuff like this, really interested.

My favorites are: Dempagumi.inc / でんぱ組.inc (j-pop, idols, denpa) Nanahira (denpa) t+pazolite (hardcore) mosaic.wav (denpa) Ryuichi Sakamoto (soundtracks, electronic, classical...) mamyukka (denpa, fantasy) DJ Krush (triphop) Masumi Ito (fantasy, soundtracks) Here's some chill hip hop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdJYpDeyTdk

>>6616 >Ryuichi Sakamoto I love his collaboration with Alva Noto https://youtu.be/2myyVQFefsE Might as well mention Ryoji Ikeda. You might like him if you're into more experimental stuff. https://youtu.be/MsGPRZPLfPA Someone rec me good Japanese noise that I probably haven't heard of.

Zettai Reido is some cool post punk. Hard to find most of their music on youtube I even tried to upload an album myself but it got taken down for copyright infringement. Here's some kind of promo mix thing, which should at least give you some idea of what they sound like so you can decide if you want to pirate elsewhere https://youtu.be/sFnglSwnQb4

>>6623 Reminded me a lot of some Russian alt-rock I know of, great stuff. >>6622 No problem, I figured they were underrated and more people should listen to what they've made. They have some really nice songs, and they incorporate more styles into different songs, with some being more heavy metal, rock or post-punk oriented.
