Post music from Africa: any genre, old or new. I'll start off.
First some older rock:
> The Funkees - Akula Owu Onyeara
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIA4kTMbfSg
> WITCH - Lazy Bones
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAZo-rn_AAs
> The Hykkers - I Want a Break Thru
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zduoKERL9BI
A more traditional pop track:
> Ebo Taylor - Love and Death
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19SLUVaOfCs
A traditional pop track with some fun synths:
> William Onyeabor - When the Going is Smooth and Good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fnTxm1u_34
Some interesting Afro-pop played using electric likembes and DIY electronic instruments:
> Konono No1 - Paradiso
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qABb7o_9vlA
Some modern blues rock:
> Songhoy Blues - Soubour

I don't stream my music so you can look these up yourself. Tidiane Et Les Dieuf Dieul (Senegal) who did some sort of prog/jazz thing with really strong, soulful vocals:
http://www.musiques-afrique.com/frames/art_dieufdieul.html
Tribe After Tribe (S.Africa), sort of hard rock or alternative with some folk elements and vaguely political lyrics. Their drummer was in the Sepultura side project Nailbomb on the one and only day they performed live:

^ oh and I just remembered that this exists. There are three volumes of this series Music From Saharan Cellphones. It's like straight out of a Bruce Sterling novel or something, a real mix of musical styles, and about as cyberpunk as it gets:

If you don't stream, I imagine you have the tracks saved. Do you mind uploading some tracks from Tidiane Et Les Dieuf Dieul? They sound interesting but I can't find much of their audio online.

I love Music from Saharan Cellphones! Such an interesting and varied compilation! Definitely worth checking out for those that haven't

Sahel Sounds is one of my favourite record labels out there, I definitely recommend anyone interested in this thread to look at their bandcamp page and listen to anything you might think looks interesting. I'm particularly partial to Mamman Sani, this record is really nice:

I've had this (French) documentary on him bookmarked for a few months now, but admittedly haven't watched it yet so I can't vouch for its quality:

I'd gladly help you in normal times but I don't even have internet where I live and the library and other places are somewhat restricted zones what with the plague and all. I'm one of those "phoneposters" chanfans hate at the moment. I got all that stuff off of Soulseek years ago if that helps.

Not 6383, but I found their album as a playlist on YouTube for Tidiane Et Les Dieuf Dieul - Salimata

Sahel Sounds is a great music label, I have discovered a lot of great stuff through them. Cool compilation of Mamman Sani; I love the lo-fi synth aesthetic! Here's a good album I listened to recently from Sahel:

That's alright! It seems >>6405 solved the issue for us and found it on YouTube. Pretty chill album!

Thanks for finding 6390's album! Glad you enjoyed the Funkees! They are definitely worth a deep dive! I enjoyed your reccs; the first one felt very carefree and the second was pretty groovy! And, for the last, of course you gotta appreciate Fela Kuti!
Here's some more African songs:
Some pretty solid Afro-funk:
> K Frimpong & Vis-A-Vis - Aboagyewaa
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1rh-rpelf0

This song was very popular at the parties when I was growing up. Everybody got up to dance to this one.
