Anyone know any music with this sort of digi-scum, low-quality, compressed aesthetic? It's something I've never really seen or heard before but its pretty cool. Some examples in both visual and auditory art:
https://yeongrak.bandcamp.com/album/bad-spray
https://yeongrak.bandcamp.com/album/silt-store
https://97997almonds.bandcamp.com/album/brat-you-make-me-healthy-you-angel-how-weak-are-you-very-frail-at-least-thats-what-you-would-like-me-to-believe-for-now-ill-take-your-word-for-it
https://nekophiliac.bandcamp.com/album/spinning-come-back-and-corrective
https://617399.bandcamp.com/album/9urify
Is there a name for this style? It seems to have popped up mainly from Nekophiliac and yeongrak.

I think you might like Torn Hawk, this is the kind of soykaf he does for both his videos and music
This is a good example

Interesting. Maybe there are more examples in the hypnagogic pop/vaporwave scene. Thinking about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGHVE7BTW-o
This album might count sonically.
There was also a really good/extreme example of this visual style in this video from the band Black Midi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-6hI2Mnb3s

yeongrak does it the best to be honest
there's a lot of stuff on soundloud with a similar aesthetic
thinking of emamouse, shop7ift, MIND CLUB
early japanese breakcore kind of evokes this stuff for me like CDR or dj sharpnel
thanks for the links
