Noise Music General

Fellow fans of noise music. I tend to prefer the more melodic forms, where you can hear something through the noise. My favorite artist so far is dreamcrusher and their album Suicide Deluxe What does everyone else like?

>no electronic i'm out

>>3311 >electronic-loving lains have physical forms that would require chairs Or have you not ascended yet, flesh-sack?

What do you think of LoverDaughter by soykafLIPS? Im pretty sure they recommended their album for freeleech on the private tracker im on, pretty cool.

Started trying to make some noise-related music. It's not really true noise, but it's inspired thereby. These are actually things I'm currently working on, not at all complete, but feel free to share thoughts https://nihilriver.bandcamp.com/album/residua

Archive.org has about 30GB of noise-rock from old tapes that recently dropped. I checked it out and it's kinda neat to listen to so far

>>3726 https://prurient.bandcamp.com/album/frozen-niagara-falls - Really digging this, other album Bermuda Drain is really good too Also, there's this podcast about noise music: http://www.merzcast.com/ - Used to be just about Merzbow, but they've moved to other classic noise since. All their Merzbow episodes are on bandcamp

>>3316 https://litships.bandcamp.com/album/loverdaughter Pretty interesting. >everyone on earth is in this band I like it A completely different style of noise, but undeniably noise. Traditionally, noise is mostly using things similar to white noise and pink noise, and it's based on that. But this is more like using sounds no one usually considers musical at all and doing something with it. Not to my taste, but certainly interesting and worth listening. Will need to dig into other albums

https://uboa.bandcamp.com/album/the-origin-of-my-depression - Not exactly noise at times, but certainly noise-related
