If you had to pick your favorite song, a single song, what would it be? No explanation required, we all know most people have more than one favorite song and it varies according to context and mood. Just pick a fuarrrking song you really like and don't judge what other people pick.

Iggy Pop - China Girl https://invidio.us/watch?v=slU0PSJedbU The David Bowie cover is like kicking dead whales down the beach, it chucks out the creepy industrial feeling and plays the "China" part of the song way too straight by adding unnecessary orientalist motifs

>>3121 >No explanation required That's exactly what I'd like to do, but I probably can't give a proper analysis on this one at all, so I'll keep it short. It's 14 minutes of beautiful cooperation between strings, woodwinds, a dash of electronic bells, supported by drum, guitar and bass. Lyrics are sung under several blankets of fuzzy reverb, spoken words thrice overlap, seemingly unintelligible, and then painfully screamed under a slowly growing waterfall of wailing guitars for the final moment of the song. There's a ton of unique and interesting sounds throughout, and the several emotional climaxes ooze a weird, heartfelt catharsis that I find endlessly relateable. While Kayo Dot has released so much material since Choirs of the Eye, I think this track still sits as their mangum opus.

Only plebs like music. Real patricians such as myself enjoy the silence as the foundation of creativity. I'm an NYU film school graduate and in the School of Visual Arts and the Academy of Art University San Francisco. I'm trained classically. I'm trained contemporaneously. I've earned my right to say it. OK? In 1975 I waked Bob Dylan on stage. Who the fuarrrk are you? You're nothing. You are NOTHING and you will never be anything.

Death Grips - Centuries of Damn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep0GX7TiWa8 I would pick On GP, but this resonates with me more. "fashion a rocket shoot to mercury for the winter extended vacation til i decompose on my splinters" "centuries of damn i've never been so yawn can't believe i'm still standing can't believe life take this long i stagger off to find my lighter i don't return till the day sag A* validates mankind's destiny in a worm" Also, those fuarrrking synths, feels like the world is melting. And also Stefan's angry, raw delivery. And also, fuarrrk Death Grips fans.
