what does /music/ think of tyler?

flower boy is all around amazing. His earlier stuff is a bit too edgy but has some great songs here and there. As an artist all around he's amazing. the way he had the characters throughout his music and videos and his music video directing is insane. Also his clothes is cool sometimes.

never really liked him even when Bastard came out, i thought it was just sloppy music. Whats more impressive to me how he and his friends managed to start a movement among young people. The music was secondary to that I think. But im biased, i just dont like him as a person, his sense of humor or the way he carries himself.

it's awesome to see him grow as an artist, I really liked WOLF. I thought Cherry Bomb was okay, but Flower Boy was a masterpiece. Most of the issues I had with his older music is basically nonexistent with his newer releases, and if it weren't for Droppin' Seeds, I'd have given Flower Boy a rare 10. He also releases a lot of exclusive stuff on YouTube, and even his official music videos can vary heavily from the studio album versions. There's a lot of creativity in his work, with a strong and weird splash of uniqueness that is hard to define other than otherworldly.

His music is pretty good, tho I feel like his lyrical themes are kinda repetitive sometimes
