The good kitschy one. Lets discuss about pop music that you find interesting and worth listening, because pop is at times the most outofthisworld experience and at the same time the most basic context abstraction, you know that feeling right?, right?....
Here I'll post some examples, I am more into the experimental side but anything poppy is relevant.
Ha! Ha! Tarachine, Picky Picnic (pic related)
Not what you have in mind when you think of Japan Pop™ It contains several revisited song from Picnic Land
For more Japanese close from this style very far close from this style, they're Japanese and that's it see SYZYGYS, After Dinner, Frank Chickens, etc.
On the Western Pop side I would mention Ariel Pink and John Maus by default. Heaven is real is my personal favourite.
And by last I recommend the Mexican duo Maria Daniela y su sonido Lasser, technopop that defines the Mexican 2000s livestyle.

The only relatively pop thing I listen to is The Weeknd, I've been listening to him since he uploaded his soykaf to youtube only and I feel like he's one of the few that actually puts effort on what he's creating instead of just rolling out products.
Also
>technopop that defines the Mexican 2000s livestyle
That's a weird-as-balls phrase my man. I'll check them out.
Aprendí ingles en el wired también, no pierdas el ritmo. La palabra debiera ser lifestyle, pero fuera de eso no veo problemas con tu post. Sigue practicando!

Somewhat a guilty pleasure, but Grimes' Art Angels album is my favorite pop. It's actually really thoughtful and somewhat sombre for pop.
Grimes' older stuff is considered dream pop, and Purity Ring's music is considered that as well

Shugo Tokumaru are a multi-instrumental band from Japan that make a lot of light-hearted music that you might consider pop:

Thank you from giving live to my thread, I almost had already forgot it. I was alot into Jpop when I was in high school.
We are not all name users, if you leave the namespace blank you get a randomly generated name. Not that is wrong being anon tho.
I am now listening House Arrest, I wonder how I had never given it a chance, it is fuarrrking good, fast paced and kitschy how I like.
It is interesting how many of you are ashamed of listening to pop.
