geese

do any of you have opinions on the band Geese?

Who are GEESE? what do they make? what do YOU think of them? I'll start: I enjoy eating geese. Goose tastes like roast beef. Geese are plentiful, and are actually overpopulated by some estimates. Geese are not particularly difficult to hunt. Goose hunting land tends to be highly accessible. Go out and get yourself a goose today*** (actually, in ~2 months when the seasons open up).

>>14743 I've had goose, all poultry is kinda the same imho, goose isn't that different from chicken or turkey, most of the goose I've had is richer and fattier and redder in color than chicken meat but its definitely bird for better or worse. Saying its like roast beef is, imho, absolutely absurd.

>>14743 Yes I've actually hunted them. The hunting is quite enjoyable. Much easier than deer or turkey hunting. They do not taste like chicken in the slightest. They actually taste like roast beef. Also they have darker, reddish meat, like roast beef. >>14744 Everyone I have fed it to agrees it tastes like roast beef. Has the same sort of texture too. Were your geese wild? Are they from the americas? Domesticated geese almost certainly have a different flavor. I have not had domesticated geese, but wild turkey vs farmed turkey is COMPLETELY different, so I assume the same holds for geese too. (Wild turkey is also delicious, although harder to describe.
