Music-making chans or forums

Are there any imageboards or forums dedicated to making music and not just listening to it? Gearspace and the tapeop messageboards are a thing, but those are mostly populated with older people who still think there's a "music industry" to save. I don't really care about the "music industry" I just want to make weird music and talk with people who do the same. Lainchan has the soundcloud, bancamp, and WATMM threads but those are frankly ultradead. Other altchans I've looked at don't really have anything like this either, and 4chan of course has been unusably bad for a long time now Worst case scenario I might try to make a board of my own or something

Honestly I've found just making thread for production questions on lainchan they tend to get answered. Unfortunately it seems like music making communities are all on discord these days..

>>14535 Yeah I've seen stuff get replied to here as well, maybe I'm being pessimistic I just think it would be cool to have an entire community dedicated to musicmaking that wasn't stuck on the discord or reddit plantations. Basically any non-social media site would be incredible. Sadly, of the few existing ones (at least ones I'm aware of), most are ad-infested and clearly platforms for the corporate peddling of products, especially gearspace (that being said I've encountered some cool people on there).
