Tutorial to convert Songster (.gp) to midi (.mid) using Tuxguitar (for tabs offline) 1. If you have contributed to songster, you should have the option to export any song to .gp 2. Open the file in tuxguitar 3. Drums and percussion may be fuarrrked up, but because of the diference of formats. Change the tunning to 7 lines on CCCCCC. This should do it 3.1. Tuxguitar does not recognize instruments like semi-open hi-hats, china cymabls (even doe it supports it), and ride cymbal edges. 4. For the way tuxguitar handles loops, alternative endigs may be fuarrrked up too, unselect and select (or reposition them) to solve it 5. Some tresillo feelings are not available (but who uses a Scotish 16th anyways) 6. Tuxguitar does not have legatos and sides-from-x, but they are changed for hammer-on/pull-off and simple slides
