i might be weird for this but

>>14110 im 4 months late but the thing is... i listened to both of them before andddddddddd... i was the one to glaze taconiel when i started associating lain with songs like this... particularly i was obsessing over his profile picture cuz i thought the guy on there was kinda attractive... but he kinda looks like aiden pearce from watch dogs as well i also obsessed over taconiel's song called "dominating" i really like its rave vibe taconiel is now known as mandraa who uses a character from the game called one piece mansion as his profile picture (just a fun fact) let me tell you how i started listening to yabujin and then songs like this: somewhere in autumn 2022 i discovered yabujin as a rapper, i liked some of his popular songs i thought the girl on the cover of 302 ionwan2go was called kitoko aoyama but its actually motoko aoyama from love hina then i have forgotten about him up before august 2023 when i found out that he started getting tiktokified with the entire "yabujincore" thing, when i started seeing videos on tiktok i started hating it bc the videos contain stuff that used to scare me back then (for example: lomando pictures) in september i found out a song called "beztebya" which is a mashup of return to zero by marc acardipane and that one song by angel vox, it scared me so much bc its associated with that picture with myths that the girl died after the picture was taken i used to avoid 140 bpm hardstyle bc of that until the second half of december 2023 when i started trying to get into yabujin better andddddddd thats when i found out about his dj gyrotta zao alias i refused to accept the fact that yabujin and dj gyrotta zao were the same person bc yabujins music is so good that it would ascend me meanwhile gyrotta music kinda scared me bc i avoided 140 bpm hardstylish music and 140 bpm hardstyle so much then i started avoiding yabujin again until february 21 2024 (after this day i wasnt the same anymore) then i started kinda realizing that yabujin actually might be dj gyrotta zao bc a particular yabujin archive acc on soundcloud replied to someone that yabujin had multiple alias, that acc posted songs by yabujin that are under alias like yabhiel and probably naga and one song under the dj gyrotta zao alias, the song under the gyrotta alias is winterstylerz with the weird snowman on the cover) only on february 26 i found out abt taconiel, but i never listened to him much it was the same day i discovered an artist named ilyhiryu (throughout the whole entirety of march i pretended to like them but i actually hate their music bc like its never nearly as good as hardstylish songs made by yabujin himself) i had two massive "jumpstyle" phases (i refuse to call them "jumpstyle" anymore bc the word "jumpstyle" for me is personally grown to be associated with artists like binum and vorwerk and patrick jumpen, who are the examples of oldschool jumpstyle), both of them are about 5 months long in the first phase, i glazed a russian artist named dayerteq who was the creator of that beztebya song but at the saem time hated ilyhiryu, which is ironic bc both are tiktok newgens who support the "yabujincore" "trend" i have a deep hatred for in the second phase though, i started associating lain with hardstylish songs for some reason, particularly the songs that im lowkey afraid of (particularly those 3 songs that were mentioned in the original post), during the time i started associating lain with such songs (as well as trance stuff like 2040x2040 or rl1805 and even oldschool jumpstyle) i started glazing taconiel heavily, knowing very well he likes oldschool jumpstyle, but its especially his profile picture and the songs called "dominating" and "take me to the top" that i obsessed over at that time i also used to obsess over the song called "dutch disorder - heroine" bc it reminds me of taconiel, but its not surprising bc he sampled it a few times the REAL reason behind me associating lain with oldschool jumpstyle though is the fact that a person with a lain profile picture commented under the song "Faithless - Insomnia (Q-ic bootleg)" on soundcloud, i also associated her with songs like "Jump Killer - Wonderful Dancing" and similar songs and i absolutely hated that knowing well she doesnt really fit these songs happy vibes personally i forgot about both of these associations later on though but after that every mention of lain still used to make me feel uncomfortable bc of that, but now i kinda liked the associations of lain with hardstylish songs like this better (sorry for such bad and long post and its the first time im replying to someone)

>>14109 >>14373 update: i try to grow out of my 2025 self and forget about taconiel's profile picture (which in reality IS aiden pearce from watch dogs but i was afraid to admit it) and associating lain with oldschool jumpstyle, the associations just used to make me uncomfortable enough to post an entire thread about it but i dont think too much about associating lain with artists like hellow0rld anymore but the fact i used to associate her with oldschool jumpstyle to the point of posting this still makes me so uncomfortable and i'm glad i'm not that scaredy anymore, the original topic of this thread should be forgotten forever but feel free to share your own lain associations with music
