A lot of British hip-hop artists have been making American ones seem creatively bankrupt by comparison. RudeGRL+CC are a perfect example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7Pjeoi4NSw

His whole library is really trippy https://erang.bandcamp.com/album/king-of-nothing-slave-to-no-one

i'm a big fan of this local band in my city, Domesticated Incels. they don't have anything released yet, just some clips on their instagram from live shows. but their music is really out there, kind of emo but like nothing i've heard anywhere else. i wish they'd put more of the weirder stuff they play live online though

I'm pretty sure I found this on a 4chan thread back in like 2015. Japanese artist who makes like a bedroom pop / lofi / synth-y amalgamation that has stuck with me for years. I can't speak the language but I feel like I understand every word. https://fumotokenichi.bandcamp.com/album/-

>>12751 >obscure, little-known music >good >english Pick two only. Am I right? '莲 (Lit)' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4qVhOaRBSY The lotus flower, scientifically known as Nelumbo nucifera, is an aquatic plant that symbolizes purity and beauty, often growing in muddy waters. It is revered in various cultures and religions, particularly in Hinduism and Buddhism, for its ability to rise above murky conditions and bloom beautifully. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelumbo_nucifera

A great obscure song from a great obscure horror film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRXMsclxXyw

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nC_ctOZTH0 I like this and regularly come back to it. It's not normally what I listen to but the repetitive synth thing just rocks

has anyone here heard of a duo called 'Daft Punk'? These guys dropped a great album in 1997 called Homework, and then radio silence since then. Wonder what happened to them

>>12751 we're all obscure anon there's no way anyone is listening to your ten songs you need to pick your best one and lead with it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlBvQBrX8Ko i discovered hemorrhoy rogers back in the limewire era and it changed my life and has stayed with me all these years later. you might know him from the "i am retarded" song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsSlXk0lA5g) that was often erroneously attributed to they might be giants. in our modern age of algorithms and curation, i think the random unpredictable nature of unstructured peer-to-peer networks query-flood search mechanics were an underappreciated vector for discovering strange obscure music. no algorithm would ever promote something like this.

https://youtu.be/VqvJf-xCz9M i randomly found this band on spotify years ago and they are pretty good

https://tailnia.bandcamp.com/album/unpleasant-music-for-nice-people Drone, ambient combined with guitars and found objects. Great stuff 10/10.
