>>12410 No way, I'm listening to IC3PEAK right now.
J.C. Denton · 2024-07-28 00:39
Most of my music doesn't have vocals, and if I had to choose I will often prefer vocals in a language I don't understand.

>>12410 Mostly English, some Russian and some japanese or german. Love me some КИНО

i used to listen to a lot of propaganda/patriotic music whether be national, ideological or ethnic which exposed me to languages from russian, mexican spanish, kurdish etc etc. but now i listen to music that doesn't feature any vocals though occasionally would listen to english or arabic based music.

>If no what other languages do you listen to Depends on the genre. If I'm listening to power metal, it will likely be either english or german. Vocaloid? That soykaf is all moonrunes. Folk is a free-for-all. Some french-canadian, some english, some finnish, etc...

I don't really care about the language. If i like it i will listen to it. If i like it enough i will search for lyrics.
Agent Smith · 2024-07-31 07:54
>>12410 I dont care about language, but hate IC3PEAK.
Shogun · 2024-08-03 12:57
>>12426 >hate IC3PEAK Why? >The body was too short or too empty.

>>12446 I think it's soykaf as is. They came out on the near-political theme in 2016-2017, before that they were no-names from the russian witchhouse scene (by the way, pretty cool, but not best, SummerOfHaze or CVIN was much better). But then it became music for near-political kids (ofc, who haven't read at least Marx's "Capital" or something more famous), I realized that's all. Then Yuri Dud(don't know how he's name on English, on Russian it's "Юрий Дудь" or "Вписка" ) interview, #"Я буду петь свою музыку" , and other soykaf. I dont care about politics, or something like that, but I don't accept hypocrisy, so

>>12557 fellow vichugan? I also liked ic3peak back then in the witchout and skotoboinia times, before 2017, and they made several good songs after that too, but most of their songs since then are just political messages desperately tried (and failed) to be shaped into a song. Funnily enough they became famous because of the political thing, "artists terrorized by russian state blablabla", who cares, make good music, that's it, i don't give a fuarrrk about the politics. luckily i have many dozens of other much better russian witch house artists to listen to, and do listen to them on a regular basis. t. not russian, musically russiaboo anon
Lain Iwakura · 2024-09-20 20:31
I speak Russian as well, so English and Russian. Ukrainian too sometimes.
Armitage · 2024-09-30 11:53
>>12557 >>12559 I like IC3PEAK's music because the sound appeals to me. I rarely pay attention to lyrics, even in languages I do know. >dozens of other much better russian witch house artists Got any recs? I've been wanting to get into witch house.
Nameless · 2024-10-02 05:07
IMO when you're a real music lover you can't help but listen to music sung in a whole host of languages. >what other languages do you listen to From all the world as long as the music and singing is good. >IC3PEAK The girl singer's voice is really unpleasant (not because it's Russian, just because it sounds like a forced child voice). Good music besides that but not for me.

English, Hindi(since that is my mother tongue), instrumentals. I have heard some Italian and German as well courtesy deep forays into progressive rock.
