the online radio format is super comfy. However, I don't know any good stations to listen to. I am interested in knowing what stations lainchan users commonly visit. please discuss them in this thread

Gensokyo Radio and lainon.life. However, I use mpv. I don't like having my browser open constantly.

My two favorite stations are Jungletrain.net (old school DnB) and Anima Amoris's Goa Psy Trance station at anima.sknt.ru. Both feature live DJ sets as well, though I've only caught that happening on AA around 7PM GMT during the weekend where it's daily on the former. I got those two and more added to the (save as) m3u linked below for the comfy internet radios, but personally I haven't used it in a while since I basically replicated the experience with my local music collection. >>10945 Apart from lainradio I listen to nearly all of the soma FM stations quite regularly, they have a great spread of different channels to suit all tastes and are pretty well established. Their app is ass though, just grab the files from their website and use your player of choice instead. Are there any Internet radio stations that do Talkradio/News/Spoken word content? I love weird BBC4 type soykaf and would love something like that without a commercial interest or gov/corpo behind it

practicaly every news/talk radio station seems to have a live online stream, if you want to listen to news and talk from wherever just go find something like that. There might be some music, most have some advertisements, but so does ytoub, so do podcasts...

Solid Snake's Cigarette Break, Bare Knuckle Blitz (Streets of Rage) Nights Into Dream Come to mind... I've got a whole Sonic & Mario Jazz X-Mass Mix from the OCR listings around here somewhere (play it during holidays over PA at the office: indie gamedev) There was some good retrowave and synthwave on/around Drive Radio but I dunno, they got way too gay a few years back and I haven't checked them out since.
