Oh hell yeah, I fuarrrking love post punk. Although I'm going to be a basic bitch and post super popular normal ass stuff, I want to keep this thread going so I can leech off recommendations of you guys. >Pink Turns Blue - After All https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzJvKfnIymg >Молчат Дома - Танцевать https://youtu.be/Crz1PpKk3dU?t=247 >Boy Harsher - Pain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPLwPRhHw0M I loved all the songs on the OP.

>>10593 Have some more >Ritual Howls - The Offering https://yewtu.be/watch?v=czSNEALMBa4 >Merciful Nuns - Karma Inn https://yewtu.be/watch?v=5LLcJtpoNIU >Subterfuge - Pre-Dawn Hours https://yewtu.be/watch?v=ifqFX5rYJbA

>>10592 Twin Tribes is great. My favourite song of theirs has got to be "Fantasmas". Your other recommendations are solid, too. I'm particularly fond of that Vandal Moon song. I might have to check them out. Here's some of my own recs, off the top of my head: >She Past Away - Ritüel https://yewtu.be/watch?v=kh5jSQ8m2tQ >Lebanon Hanover - Gallowdance https://yewtu.be/watch?v=WPw7nlluRdc >Rendez-Vous - Distance https://yewtu.be/watch?v=3ntBhdoP-Vc >Boy Harsher - Give Me a Reason https://yewtu.be/watch?v=yNVTqgUrJnM >Perturbator - Secret Devotion (feat. True Body) https://yewtu.be/watch?v=NhGPW4oh8OU

Posting some more because why not >ACTORS - Strangers https://yewtu.be/watch?v=93W0KGIXSXA >She Wants Revenge - Maybe She's Right https://yewtu.be/watch?v=Vb3QH0NVX54 >Bloody Dead and Sexy - Bloody Rose https://yewtu.be/watch?v=4XimgRiCzwM >>10607 Got to see Twin Tribes live w/ Wingtips, awesome show.

Thanks for all the new stuff to try, I'm a noob who only listens to popular stuff like Sisters of Mercy and Clan of Xymox.

I have a feeling this fits the thread: https://johnsweekley.bandcamp.com/album/ashes-afterglow-original-game-soundtrack Postin' some webms of the old stuff, for people new to the sound.

And some more... inb4 Godflesh doesn't fit, I know perfectly well, but this single is a bit of an exception, at least to my ears.

>>10621 I have not heard that Godflesh song in years. They had a few other songs like that, sad snd melodic where he sang that way, some of the stuff on Selfless for example, but lacking the gloomy synth that establishes that one right from the start.

>>10622 Slateman is a bit like that too. To be honest, I think Slavestate and Pure (maybe Merciless, too?) are monuments of sonic pain and should provide a good fix for goths.

>>10621 >godflesh damn i missed that song this is the kinda chill shyt youd listen to back in the 90s with your cool friends after skateboarding or graffiti or hacking something or making love to some nice teen girl or smashing some cop property or playing top quality video games or such before everyone turned unironically ghey

>>10625 I'm sorry to break your normal user power trip, but this is clearly music to listen to alone.

>>10626 I can confirm. A lot of music from that era is retroactively popular now because people discovered their favourite bands own favourite bands which is great but being the first kid on the block to get into Godflesh at the time (or Neurosis or Earth or Cop Shoot Cop or most of the stuff shared in this thread) probably meant you were the only kid who did.

The Sound should be a classic, already. What about proto-sludge "slow punk"? >>10607 Thanks for making me discover Lebanon Hannover, soykaf is great.

>>10634 You would probably be into this. Should be easy to find online somewhere.

>>10636 Thanks, works for me. Different from Eyehategod and other misery porn type sludge.

I thought I'd bump with another recommendation, Velvet Dawn by Ruin of Romantics. To me, it's something of a companion piece to Perturbator's Lustful Sacraments, utilizing a similar sound, though it's more "traditional", if that makes sense. https://invidious.snopyta.org/watch?v=QmnwY0QylFU

Incredibly underrated Russian darkwave https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_hgDFvs6pI Does anyone here make this sort of music?

These are some of my favourite gothic metal albums. Someone already posted DCD album. My favourite DCD album is Spleen and Ideal. I'm not a fan of The Cure but I really this song and the music video. The Cure - Charlotte Sometimes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KeII31qyck Moonspell - Vampiria(Live) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDXph-MuCLg

>>10636 Wow never seen someone reference this band before. The precursor band Kilslug is good too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DBWG6nwLEM

https://youtu.be/Ho_CtTvAhfw Just wanted to share this song and bump this thread while I am at it.
