There is Burial's work. Even if that is cliche but I do think Untrue suits itself to such a dark atmosphere maybe it could put you in a sleepy mood. Oh oh you can also listen to Sugar for the pill by Slowdive. I always take walks around my neighborhood at night and look at the stars with this song on its so wonderful. There's also Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins but i don't know for sure if it helps with sleep or not but its incredibly dreamlike and i kinda feel like it would help too.

>>10466 Hey OP, I've always wondered, where do you, and people like you, get these weird-ass memes? Like, I "discover" them, on imageboards. But you're a person too. Where the heck did you casually get something like this?

>>10499 I guess they come from Discord but I don't use it. I use average social media. >>10489 Thanks. Unfortunately i can't take walks around my neighbourhood with something of value because I'll get shot.

I can't imagine trying to sleep with something so angular and spastic as math rock... I think that stuff is meant to stimulate, not sedate right? The more repetitive the better for sleepy time like Scorn - Evanescence or Ben Neill - Green Machine, or something entirely atmospheric with no beats at all, Brian Eno - Shutov Assembly or Sunn ●))) - Black One >>10495 This is also good.

>>10571 I used to sleep listening to mathcore and noise music. The lack of tonality and less predictable rhythms and song structures helped the music distract me from racing thoughts but without getting caught up in the music. Different strokes, I guess. Doesn't work for me anymore, though. Any music distracts me now. I'm now a basic "10 hours of rain by the fireplace" bitch.

>>10572 That makes total sense when you put it that way but I know it wouldn't work for me either. I used to go to bed listening to Transilvanian Hunger which despite the dissonance is one of the most repetitive and trancey albums ever made. If I tried something like Sepultura on the other hand, the tempo changes and even tonal changes (like a guitar solo) will keep me on edge, I just can't do it.

>>10571 Believe me, japanese math rock WILL make you sleep. I was listening to toe at the time (New Sentimentality) but after a few runs it just doesn't do it for me anymore. Idk i like repetitive beats though. I used to sleep to things like Coil The Ape of Naples. I'm just built different i guess. >>10570 >>10575 I will download these albums right away.
