>>10369 Katana Zero Silent Hill 2 Hotline Miami Witcher 3 (not that fun to listen outside the game)

The Banner Saga Arcanum I use these two's soundtracks when playing games with no sound. **Devil May Cry unironically**

Excuse a profane, but what "BGM" stands for ? In doubt, my favorite games (BGM or not ?) >Doom / Doom 2 >Silent Hill 2 >Hollow Knight >Resident Evil 3 I'm not a big vidya consummer anyway. Play one hour a week at most.

>>10379 My bad I was in the /music/ thread so I think we discuss about games OST ? So basically what I say here is still legit (except RE3 as I don't remember anything regarding the music).

>>10371 >Witcher 3 (not that fun to listen outside the game) Lol yeah... I bought the OST only to realize it's not my taste on it's own. some of my favs from the top of my head: Tooth and Tail Payday 2 Risk of rain (first game specifically. second game got banger tunes too.) Tunic Neotokyo Unreal tournament (1999) I have them all on my phone ready to be listened to. Foregone destruction goes hard.

nobody has yet mentioned a zelda game, not even Ocarina of Time? besides that, I highly recommend the soundtrack to the Ghost in the Shell video game for the PSX, it also has a great intro that works as music video as well. soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoiaFPJVKVo&list=PL2C9F15EBD4D4F2DA intro / music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQXl9gaeNLQ there are probably a lot more I just can't remember right now.

Touhou has great music. >>10379 >but what "BGM" stands for ? BackGround Music.

- Mirrors Edge (https://youtube.com/watch?v=1_XmY09uRJ4) - Touhou series (https://youtube.com/watch?v=h4FVKSHjg-0) - Deus Ex (https://youtube.com/watch?v=3tDjJkFyL_Q) - Bayonetta (https://youtube.com/watch?v=6bkY9ZS-9BA) - Silent Hill 1-4 (https://youtube.com/watch?v=yAXAdgWaGCc) - Professor Layton (https://youtube.be/u3ak_il8E8E) >>10384 These are real good

Touhou got mentioned, does this also include doujin music of the series?

Some of my favorites that i feel a lot of people sleep on >Ori my all time favorite ost, just a beautiful orchestral work in general https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-tWqEod9Ig https://youtu.be/nCD58aeflPc https://youtu.be/tX1y9OYe9Xw https://youtu.be/t6vWDz5NzOY >Deadbolt same composer and developer as the guy who made Risk of Rain, lots of top tier tracks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzxOTiVOpEU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiG2IO_yzIc >Oneshot https://youtu.be/aKdU_-HtdM8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OduqXzXYlBY >Spiral Knights my most played game all time, i believe this is the biggest waste of potential i've ever seen in gaming. The og devs and composer left to make Slime Rancher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRRpLF-Z6C8 https://youtu.be/s8WV0uzELf0

>>10369 -Skyrim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRe3xFeyhVY I like to call it ambient music

>>10369 That game reminds me of another game with a fantastic OST, which is Ecco the Dolphin for SEGA CD. The game itself is pretty challenging, but the music is very relaxing.

Megaman X 1-3 has pretty much the most killer soundtrack on the SNES.

Final Fantasy X Pokemon GSC Zelda: A Link to the Past Undertale and Deltarune

>>10829 I'd say DKC trilogy has a better ost.

>>10874 David Wise is a master composer and nothing compares to Donkey Kong Country 2's soundtrack. Here's an interesting live performance with him back in 2018. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtHUZDTp1H0
