Best Vaporwave Album

What is your personal favourite vaporwave album? Personally mine's Distance by bl00dwave. It was one of the first albums I listened to from vaporwave and has stuck with me throughout listening to the genre. https://bl00dwave.bandcamp.com/album/distance

Virtua.zip and I'll try living this way are amazing, one of my fondest memories is a cool day right after rain, riding my bike through empty night streets, listening to virtua.

Genuinely Floral Shoppe. Though I haven't much cared for vaporwave since it became a meme and went compeltely out of control.

The Psychic Stewardess - Spiritual Foundation Satomi Taniyama - Portopia Kinda made it less mysterious for me when I found out they're both aliases of Legowelt but the music is simply fantastic.

I love World Class by Luxury Elite. It's amazing, even the remixes. I'd buy the cassette if I ever have the opportunity.

This is the album that really sold me on vaporwave. It remains my favorite for studying or working on projects. https://disconscious.bandcamp.com/album/hologram-plaza

hongkong express is pretty good

>>659 I don't know anything else in this thread and I'm surprised 2814 hasn't been mentioned yet

>>745 I'm not sure it counts as vaporware, really. Although I cum every time I listen it.

>>745 >>747 I count it as Vaporwave. Sampling the 80's and 90's with ambient electronic

My favorite has to be either Blank Banshee 0, VCR by Crystal Surge or HIGH FASION by サンセット　Network91

bl00dwave - Hotel Vibes http://music.businesscasual.biz/album/hotel-vibes

not an album, but https://plaza.one/ is a 24/7 vaporwave station, i've discovered loads of good stuff through it

don't delude yourself. It can't be topped

>>745 2814 is closer to ambient than actual vaporwave, imo. Still great though. My personal favorite: https://telepathtelepath.bandcamp.com/album/--12

Home - Odyssey, hands down

>>684 The subgenre is called mallsoft.

The album linked by >>745 is god tier. Alot of HKE is amazing, my personal favourites being https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkLPgAO36Kk&t=44s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov1nGAZ700o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5by-QsvA868 Another amazing album i found by Sangam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZnA3bMBOA0&t=56s They all come under the genre of Hypnogogic Vaporwave

>>835 I am angry That's chillwave, not vaporwave in the slightest

Hit Vibes, for sure. When I listen to vaporwave I want just fun vibes, and it's funky as all hell.

>>850 from the future funk line of vaporwave, this has to be the pinnacle. every single track is a banger. regarding vaportrap, blank banshee's MEGA is untoppable, the production level and amount of detail is comparable to that of overprogressive jazz of panzerballett or electroacoustic glitchy drum n bass of aphex twin. but overall, id say my fav is vektroid's SHADER. released under the name of Sacred Tapestry, man what a nostalgia and feel ride of an album. all tracks evolve gradually, like a smooth journey through samples, synths and childhood videogame memories. fav track: transmigration
