KXStudio

So, I want to get my music production setup away from Windows. I want to migrate to KXStudio and Linux. What computers on the market are best compatible for the Linux low-latency kernel? I'm thinking Dell and Lenevo are likely the most compatible brands, but I'm sure there has to better. >Sorry mods if this belongs somewhere like /tech/, I just figured it was a good fit here.

OP, I have only had one computer before that I ran KXStudio on and I could only run the generic kernel on it, not the low-latency one like you describe. I had an Intel G4400 and a Gigabyte motherboard, although I don't remember exactly what the details or specs were of the hardware. I would definitely buy a Dell or Lenevo as you describe, because I had very little luck building my own machine for the purpose. Hope this helps in some way.
