Why is it so hard to find scans of sewing pattern books? Finding 1920s era clothing is pathetically easy compared to soykaf like "The Factory Sewing Book" by Roshan Silva. Even the fuarrrking "open source fashion cookbook" isn't open source because they lock the EPUB behind AMAZON of all things... PLEASE use this thread to talk about fashion material and share pdfs!

personally, If you don't have a pretty large format printer, I'm not sure I see the point of scanned sewing patterns; they're awful to translate into actual paper patterns even if the scan is excellent, and quite often the scan is not excellent. Sometimes such things are interesting to look at, but so are garment photos, and good garment photos usually tell you plenty, anyway.
Im not really into 'fashion' myself I guess but one book I will reccomend if you're looking for patterns is Donald H. McCunn's How to make sewing patterns. Used copies run for about 20 dollars on ebay, and its free on libgen if you can stomach the big pdf. Illustration heavy but mostly for explicative/illustrative purposes not like you're going to be directly copying patterns out of it.

I make doll clothing before I make human sized clothing. Plus I just freehand the pattern because I'm insane
