Just finished Jüngers Waldgang. Really blends well with motives in his other works particularly Heliopolis. It offers an interesting perspective on a freedom of choice within progressing technical world shaped by a figure of a worker.

As for related recommendation read In Storms of Steel by aforementioned author. Its great even if you are not particularly into ww1 related themes.

Currently reading the Canterbury Tales. It's historical literature but the short stories format keeps it fresh and interesting, as well as good for reading in short sessions.

"Unix: A history and memoir" is a comfy read. There's some technical stuff in it, but it's mostly just recounting stuff that happened at bell labs

Reading through the various Sackett books L'amour rn, not necessarily comfy but they're comfy reads to me. Also the Doc Savage books are always comfy in a weird way.
