Anyone else hear about a book, only to discover that the indie author who published it as a PDF or something and took it off the net, and can't find anyone who read it? if any lains here have large archives, maybe take a search through them for anyone else.
opening post: any old soykaf written by tim rogers. I discovered this guy's blog at https://largeprimenumbers.com and wanted to read the novels he's mentioned writing. they're listed on goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/series/92771-the-new-adult-s-guide-to-sweating-and-breathing-in-the-twenty-first-cent) and I've found the occasional mention of them in the /lit/ archive, but that's it.

"Burn This Book", by Dan Hoff.
Supposed Anarchist's Cookbook type book, with chapters on proxies and EMP mines, more kind of dangerous ideas for the digital age.
Reportedly written by an ex-marine, the story goes that 14 physical copies were made before the author was found dead in the desert of a shotgun blast to the chest, ruled suicide.
If you mention this book, someone inevitably shows up accusing you of being the author, faking your death and "shrilling your book", despite it not actually being for sale.
Also a lot of people saying the book never existed, despite my having found an isolated chapter.
