Looking for any books, fiction, history, theory, anything that features the neon aesthetics of a rising China. Could be cyberpunk fantasy, could be Deng-era history, modern-day mystery, doesn't matter, just looking for anything that really captures that feel.

First thing i could think of is The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson which involves a more traditional China rising.

the Three-Body Problem is undeniably Chinese in nature. Superb book and series.
