I hope the anons of /lit/ can help me find a book I remember reading as a teen. I know the book was a relatively cyberpunk novel set in America after an economic crash. The first chapter was from the perspective of a priest who ran a church in an old drive-in theatre and would smelt and sell any coins he got donated at mass. It talked about the declining economy and how money had become worthless due to hyper-inflation(if i recall correctly). Does anyone know what book this is from?
