The refresh rate from what I've seen is nice, and thinking of this as a long-term investment, I will rarely if ever have to buy another book (#bookz, libgen, Soulseek). Another nice thing is I won't have to mess with format conversion which has been a pain in the past even with calibre. What do you think of it when compared to other e-ink readers?

You can get a decent 7" ereader for $100 and koreader already handles pdfs very well. It may be the best on the market, but you should strongly consider if you actually read enough large format PDFs to make the BOOX reader worth the extra cost. >I will rarely if ever have to buy another book I justified my ereader with a similar line of thought and while it was certainly worthwhile, I buy more books now than I ever did. Eink is good enough that it's comfortable to read from, unlike LCDs, but it's still nowhere near real paper.
