Looking for other /lit/ communities where you can discuss books and related subjects. Boards, Discord, IRC, mailing lists, subreddits etc - Just want somewhere I can discuss my latest books and get a few responses, maybe even get a discussion going. Where do you hang out?

Browsed /lit/ for a while and I have to say it's pretty bad, I'd recommend staying away from it. Your best bet is finding IRC communities from places like Bookzz to discuss literature, otherwise college English clubs are usually fairly quality

This man speaks truth. 4chan is, at this point, the introductory faculty of the underground of the web.

So 420chan doesn't use catalogs?
Any Discord /lit/ communities?

seconding this. Although IRC would be more lain-y it isn't suitable for long winded conversations.
