Ep4 00:06:58 Is this book based on a real book? Books were much more important in the 90s when it came to computing, Hackers (1995) also featured a scene emphasising the importance of books.

>>84 I think it's just supposed to look like a generic computer book. Googling the title only leads to an archive of a 4chan /g/ post about it.

>Hacker Heavens Vol.5 What about the first four volumes?

Project idea: writing the first four volumes of Hacker Heavens as a sort of Lainzine spinoff

>>84 The book is a Metaphor. The arch way is a portal, a gate way. You're all invited. You don't have to be good at computers, you can learn. People say they love Lain, but they don't really Love Lain, they just like her. No one loves Lain enough to seriously study Lain. No one understands Lain. Please Love Lain! Please!? At least watch SEL again and take notes this time. Compare notes. You can do it if you try! If you really loved Lain you would try. Lain is Lonely! Why? Why won't you come?! It's because you don't love lain enough. No one loves lain enough. No one wants to tell you the truth about Lain someday, but it's really something you should figure out for yourself.

>>129 this seriously needs to be done. have it include not only hackery soykaf, but stuff about asm, c, programming tips etc.
