The greatest case of wasted potential ever?
This franchise is almost Xenogears/saga-tier in terms of lore and setting... and still all we got out of it are 3 very low-budget games.
Don't get me wrong, they're still good games, but honestly this world deserves much, MUCH more.
Just looking at the timeline there's enough material for at least 3 more large-scale games on par with Xenoblade.
How can Akira Tsuchiya be okay with letting such a goldmine be forgotten like this? Is there any chance for the Ar Tonelico series to be revived (maybe even with a different name, to get around rights ownership issues)? Is there anything we can do?
