Hello lainchan, I would like to play Minecraft offline with mods. But because of Microsoft I need a Microsoft account to install it. Any options for me? I'm not at all worried about spyware, because I don't intent to play online, so I'll block traffic with a firewall. But I would like to know if there's a way to install it without having to join the big tech botnet? Also, while writing this I got access to a cracked version of UltimMC that seems to be working. But so far haven't tried mods on it. I will update as I get more information. It looks like the cracked version is available on Linux too, which is good as I plan to migrate from Windows soon.

>>6866 Use a cracked client. I played an absurd amount of MC and never paid for an official client. Skaiacraft was the last cracked client I used, but that was ages ago. Minetest is the cozy open source alternative to minecraft.

>>6866 You have the right idea, UltimMC cracked and its forks work just fine. When I last played, I used PrismLauncher, which is slightly better. It worked well with modpacks as well.

You can maybe try MineClone 2, the minetest game. There are some differences and some things doesn't work, but i think it's even better than minecraft because it's not so bloated. Of course i advise you to try it because it's totally free software.

>>6874 Sorry but i can't tell you at the moment. I would have to play hours to make the obsidian gate and i don't have time and don't feel like gaming at the moment. Sorry. Although the problematic animal spawning bug which made me quit playing it a few years ago (animals missing for dozens of days, then being spawned in such amounts, that you can't see or move around because of them) seems to be fixed.

>>6869 i set up cracked clients for a bunch of my friends and sometimes it would get stuck on that step. it sounds retarded but stopping it and starting it again until it worked was the only solution i figured out. they are all on windows and i don't know if that has anything to do with it. it worked with no issues for me on linux.
