ultimate chill games recommendations
Boris Grishenko · 2023-03-16 12:50
I've been so bored recently and I need some games to play, any super chill games?
I don't like shooters, horror or games that require too much brain usage. good example is House flipper and A little to the left
PC and switch games, still figuring out how to emulate switch games though
thanks for anyone who helps out

If you just want to turn your brain off, Powerwash Simulator or Bloons TD 6 are great, maybe Euro Truck Simulator 2 will be what you're looking for too, but I always end up falling asleep when playing it.

If I had to make a podium for the most comfortable video games I've ever played, it'd go like this:
>Gold
"Legend of Illusion" starring Mickey Mouse (GG/MS)
>Silver
Donald Duck no Mahou no Boushi (SNES)
>Bronze
Tails Adventures (GG)
I don't think you can go wrong with any of these, all are comfortable experiences from start to finish.
P.S. I wish I had a real Game Gear to mod, one day hopefully.>>6757

play kingdom two crowns. I really like the chill music and artstyle and you literally just use 3 buttons to play.

I sometimes play World of Warplanes in a private room just to fly. Chilling in the (virtual) skies.

I tried playing assassin's creed ii/brotherhood/revelations as a kind of virtual tourism mode but those asshole archers kept yelling insults at me which really harshed my vibe.
I was playing metal gear solid ghost babel and the post game was pretty chill since there's no stakes and you can retry as many times as you want. The postgame is all just a VR simulation so none of it matters.
Oh and Outrun with savestates is very chill.

I've been getting into JRPGs recently as my chill game. Depends on which one you go with, but DQXI S I've been able to autopilot as long as I keep on top of my gear. Keeps throwing me off how light-hearted it is though.

I play bcrawl as a fist only monk minotour. Literally 0 thoughts goes into the game and sometimes i go as deep as depth1. Love that game

Some may find the recommendation retarded, but imo Dark Souls is the ultimate game for chilling. Amazing, yet slow combat, beautiful world, minimal dialogue and cutscenes, lots of lore but only if you look for it, great level design that allows you to play however you want.

though its a common recommendation but i cant avoid mentioning yume nikki (and yume 2kki). frequently when i just want to play smth that doesnt require a lot of thought/strategy but also catches my attention and yume nikki has been a great companion for a good few months. observe the scenes, enjoy the soundtrack and let your imagination run wild about this mysterious world... it's super chill

>majoras mask in space
So, an incomplete game with a ton of side quests and barely any challenging mainline content to justify it... in space?

I more meant there is a fixed time frame the game must be completed in similar to the moon falling. It also some how nails a very comfy cozy nostalgia vibe that really reminds me of playing the n64. I suspect the color pallet.

I'd recommend Klonoa on Steam. They are fun but calming and while there is challenge, it is not enraging.

Chillest game ever, in every sense of the word.
There is only you and the mistakes you may do.

Second this, Vintage Story is great, it inspired me to go outside. I'm glad to see its getting more popular.
