obscure puzzle adventure game?

about a year ago I remember reading some recommendations for games on one imageboard or another, forget which. anyway, one of them that a few people recommended was like an older, obscure, obtuse 2D adventure game, and it sounded good, but I forgot to take down its name. I skimmed through the /v/'s recommended games wikia but none of the titles rung a bell for me. it wasn't OFF, and if i remember what it looked like correctly (I might not) I think the player character was really tiny (like a few pixels), it had a view from the side a la Cave Story, and the colors were dark. I think it had some meaningless single-word title. any lains know of a game like this?

>>6205 OP here, i haven't found it (although I will check out the games other posters have recommended) If you're looking for something that sort of scratches the itch for the sort of thing I'm describing in the OP, play Rain World, and you're not allowed to quit until you've gotten all the way through Five Pebbles. you won't regret it!
