I was thinking of buying a PS5 but considering that theres no sign of new games for it im gonna go for a PS4. What are some of the essential games to get on it ? Anything is welcome.

I just want to introduce this into your consideration: get a PS4 with hackable firmware and pirate your games. Since you do not know what games to get I'm assuming you primarily play offline. Sony does not respect their consumers nor small developers, neither do online ecosystems respect users in general. If you disagree, fair enough. If you wish to support a developer, just buy a physical company, or if digitally only, it's most likely on a PC distribution platform anyways.

Unfortunately the PS4 has few games worth playing. Theres some good ones though. Bloodborne is my favorite fromsoft RPG, Gravity Rush 1 & 2 have fun movement and cute girl.

Don't. Use your PC for gaming instead.

Well it depends really from what you want to play.
If you want to catch up with the games that were released 5-7 years go that you couldn't play then you will have basically an infinite library of soykaf to play. But then again, for multiplat you are better bying a pc (see desktop APUs, especially ryzen, the price difference is not that big and you get a decent config if you expect to get a gpu soon), you will still get however pretty much acceptable fps (but I would make some research before bying a game, some games do really suck on ps4, also be ready to suck at shooters because of controls, still it's playable and many people don't even complain) but without the possibility to adjust settings and having to pay for online, while on pc you can just pirate. I'm telling this as a ps4 owner myself btw. It's just I have a laptop for work and the ps4 for vidya, but if you don't move around much pc is win-win in this case.
If you are more about exclusives then well, you don't have much here either. You have a bunch of sequels of successful series from ps3/ps2 like god of war and a bunch of remasteres, if you are ok with that then this is the list of soykaf I would get first (no specific order + multiplats, some of them in fact were timed exclusives + no specific genre, there's a bit of everything here):
-TLOU remastered, I quite liked the first game on ps3, didn't bother to buy the sequel because I don't care
-God of War, nothing to explain here, also GoW3 remastered
-Bloodborne, also DS3 and Sekiro (both multiplat) if you are into that stuff
-Nioh/Nioh2
-Ghost of Tsushima
-Uncharted series (some of that, if not all games, got ported to pc not long ago)
-Shadow of the colossus, which is the remake of the ps2 title
-MSGV, multiplat but it runs well on ps4 and it's actually a decent game
-Death Stranding, same as above, Kojima's new creation, chances are high you won't like it, get it on discounts or pirate to decide
-A lot of weeb soykaf, persona 5, Final Fantasy 7 Remake (and a lot of other games from the same series), Yakuza (Yakuza 6 is exclusive but you better start with Yakuza 0) just to name a few, make your own research for more
-Nier (and Drakengard from older gens, if you get into this one)
-Until Dawn
-Ratchet & Clank
-infamous second son (gets a bit ripetitive and boring, still a decent one, don't know how it holds up today)
-detroit become human
-GTA5/RDR2
-Gran Turismo
-Witcher 3
-Days Gone
-Spider Man
-Horizon Zero Dawn

You get a better framerate on PS5 on SOME games. The ones where the framerate is capped I notice it more on PS5 than PS4 for some reason. So look online at what games you want to play and see if they are over 60fps or not.

Seconding the TLOU recommendation and recommending TLOU2 since it's stealth and tactical shooter gameplay (on the hardest difficulty) is just beautiful. The only issue with 2 is that the story is very long, and can get in the way of you just wanting to play funny levels (if you dislike or don't care for the story that is).

It turns out piracy is hard on up-to-date PS4s. One fuarrrkup will remove your ability to pirate.
Buying used is almost certainly more headache free, and it's certainly cheap enough.
