Do you remember that loosely SEL-themed webpage that belonged to some sort of "cyber" suicide cult? As far as I can remember it was named like a Japanese industry company or something like that. Please tell me if you have an idea which one it was.
Rick Deckard · 2022-01-26 00:05
i think the name was Tsuki Project
Lady Jessica · 2022-01-26 00:13
>>5713 yo I think I remember that. I remember trying to figure out what it was about or how to interact with anyone involved and just being completely lost.
Jim Hilger · 2022-01-26 00:16
it was just a ARG (alternative reality game)
fsociety · 2022-01-26 00:43
>>5715 fuarrrking hate ARGS, they're always just some random bullshit trying to be 'innovative' and 'cool' 'ate em greatly
Demeere · 2022-01-26 00:44
Its name was Tsuki Project and in the end the maker just vanished, it wasnt an ARG and in the end nothing came out of it

The original Site went down after a while, but i think someone has a archived version up albeit its missing some of the functionality of the original.
Motoko Kusanagi · 2022-01-26 01:00
>>5712 if you are curious at seeing the older version or the newer versions of the site these are two archives i found https://systemspace.network/ someone put
Ivan Petrov · 2022-01-26 03:05
They have both archive sites, and they did have a cult attached the creator was a schizo who got back on his meds and cancelled the site. IIRC I think two people committed suicide from it (despite saying suicide doesn't count in the FAQ). He had a huge FAQ page on how the afterlife was gonna be when everyone jacked out. It's entire lore was ripped from visual novel called Rewrite, also where the music comes from. https://systemspace.network/

>>5719 >>5720 it seems like they're just playing around with philosophy to get everyone on the same page. suicide seems to be discouraged. I really like this concept actually and think it'd be cool for something like this to happen again.
Nobody important · 2022-02-08 14:04
>>5720 Was the creator an actual schizo? When I found out that Tsuki's lore was ripped from the Rewrite VN, I dismissed the creator as an attention-seeking liar.
Netrunner · 2022-02-08 17:51
>>5743 I don't have the link but, he shut it down shortly after getting back on meds IIRC.
Dox · 2022-02-08 23:21
>>5715 it wasn't quite an arg... Tsuki had some weird soykaf on there, but it wasn't an ARG >>5717 IIRC he stole money and ran off, but by that time i had stopped using the site after it became normal person cancer Ahhhh, 2017 what a year
The Plague · 2022-02-08 23:22
>>5733 He actually had a thing on there about not wanting people to commit suicide, as rumor had it, two people had anheroed and cited the site as part of their justification albeit they had soykafty lives anyway and were not mentally stable to begin with.
