What games scare you? Or puts you in the mood for Halloween?
Just played TORMENTED SOULS ~ a survival horror that uses a lot of old-school Resident Evil/Silent Hill puzzles and traps.

System Shock 2 is a classic example, that game feels like it's precision engineered to put you on edge constantly.

How is GTA Vice City horror?

Tormented souls was pretty good, expected it to be super tacky but ended up enjoying the atmosphere in some areas. I've been playing through the fan made SH2 PC enhanced edition recently.

You don't know what true terror feels like until you're on the final stage of a long arcade game doing a single-credit clear.

Yahtzee's classic 7 Days A Stranger and its sequels are surprisingly effective, for the simple old point and click engine. It's like Steven King wrote a LucasArts game, lol.

Gradius is the soykaf. I used to play it on arcade(in fact, 1 was the first game I ever played many years ago) and doing 1CC for the first time was one hell of a feeling with your friends watching you playing it. Truly good old times.

Give Halloween Horror games another chance. OK?
