Haven't played it myself but been meaning to, and it is supposed to be quite good like most other Zachtronics games.
>Uplink
Uplink is a cool "fake hacking" game. It has a more recent mod called UplinkOS which updates graphics and interface etc, but I haven't used it.

Mindustry has logic processors you can use to program building actions or unit behavior with an assembly like scripting language.

I learned how to program by messing around with Expression 2 in GMod; there's a lot of creative stuff you can do between the wiremod devices, E2 apis and the game's own physics. I know it's sandbox and not strictly part of GMod, but there's nothing else quite like it that I've found except for maybe Second Life - a shame, since the ability to casually program inside the world is something that the metaverse fad is sorely missing.

Else Heart.Break() its an awesome game, great story, and once you get a certain item you can start inspecting and modifying the code of objects in the game's world around you, the sky's the limit
