Avant-garde games and stuff

These are some of the most Avant-garde games I could find. I was looking for more games that match this aesthetic, but since categories aren’t usually sorted by aesthetic, it can be difficult finding games with this sort of semblance. I truly wish games were sorted by its aesthetic. It would make it easier to find a game I might want to play. Leave suggestions. They are avant-garde because of their contemporary and innovative ideas making them a visual masterpiece. Developers weren’t “limited” by hardware or their tools. That would be like saying Picasso was limited by his pencil size. Developers utilized the capability of video graphics to create some of the best looking games. Their games weren’t typical oversaturate clichés; it was a pioneered medium which had patented the entire way video games are made today. That’s why some of their controls were janky as fuuark and had to remap. I also like it’s colour and rendered aesthetic.

Not sure if OP is bait but some games that I would actually consider relatively avant are Killer7 (and some of suda's other works), El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, and a bunch of indie/underground titles. Maybe LSD and the creator's other games as well.

These games are good, but they're the opposite of avant-garde, having extreme popularity. If anything, it's a good list of anti-avant-garde.
