Life Tastes Like Cardboard

Has anyone played this game? It can't be just me, this game had a profound effect on me and I have no one to discuss it with. It feels awkward recommending a game like this to people, but can anyone humor me and try it out, its free on Steam and takes about 4 hours to complete. I really want to share this experience with people. Perhaps I'm just extremely lonely.

I tried the game but got about 20 minutes in (as far as the park with the guy running laps) but never finished it because it didn't seem to pick up much for me. Did you beat the game with the secret ending from the collectibles and if so do you think it's necessary to do so? I can't finish it today but if someone else can confirm that the game has value beyond being another game that just says 'deppression is bad, be happy' then I'll happily give it a go next weekend and update with my thoughts.

>>3711 Windows only despite ms paint graphics and probably probably made in Unity Like the style though, it's a nice imitation of 2008 youtube, kinda like those recreations of y2k and 80s grafix. So what's the gameplay like?

>>3713 The ending changes when you collect all the memories. I implore you finish it, it really impressed me with its experimentation, and the dialogue is really some of the best i’ve read in a long time, Its sort of like Yume Nikkie, where you explore a lot of interesting places, I don’t know what about it makes me love it so much, I just sort of had a feeling while playing it, that it was genuine. The music is great to I actually bought it on band camp.

>>3713 The ending changes only slightly, so I would recommend not bothering, it's much more enjoyable when you aren't pixel hunting or consulting a guide every few minutes.
