Any old tremulous players around here? A lot changed. But we also need you back! ATM there is many players connected.

Glad someone brings it up. It is still being developed and played, not by the original group but http://grangerhub.com You can download the new client there and try the new gameplay on the official grangerhub servers, no bots yet sadly, those are being worked on it seems, but as always it takes forever. There are saturday testing games every week, its still pretty wip, but it can be played. Regretably the only other server that is being played otherwise is "der bunker" which is quite hostile appeartly. Would be nice to see some lainons at a testgame.

unvanquished seems to be Tremulous on a different engine.

One of the differences is the use of nacl vm as opposed to qvm, though in both cases from a gamedev standpoint its the same as they use c for the game code part. The assets are better but the gameplay in my view isnt so good as a tremulous.

It needs a proper bot system.

this is the first game i played when i got into linux years ago. it was great fun. i liked to build and defend the base. this game could be so fun if it was a bot aliens vs humans survival kind of thing.
