Currently playing through it,the soundtrack man. It's something else, the synth selection is incredible

I started it but got a little distracted with life to finish it. I remember loving the music and visuals, I'll probably get back to playing it eventually.

Excellent game! My favorite moment was honestly that intro cutscene, it pulled me right in and made me stay all the way until the end. Excellent art / colors, and the Disasterpeace soundtrack tied it all together in a neat package. My main complaint was that the game got a bit repetitive at the end, but it ended just when I started feeling that way. I'd love to see a sequel some day!

>>1855 The Heart Machine guys were hiring not too long ago, and I believe they even revealed they were working on another project. Not sure if it's related to HLD, but we can assume it'll be of similar quality. :-)

I love all the west zone, it's amazing in every sense, gameplay, design, music.

Yep, I've played it a few times. The soundtrack is just incredible for it, Disasterpiece did a smashing job for it. Personally my favourite area would have to be the north area followed by the west area because the visuals in those 2 areas are just awesome

I played it some time ago, had fun but didn't pay much attention to the story so i didn't get the lore. Should i go back to know what it was trying to tell?

I didn't like it all, though it's been so long since I've played it's hard to criticize in detail. I remember the combat being pretty basic up until the very end of the game. It's balanced so enemies hurt a lot but the game will put you back on the same screen, so there was a lot of dying with no consequence. I didn't appreciate the pixel hunt secrets and pickups throughout the game. The music was dull and made me sleepy and I say that as someone who listens to about 80% low-key ambient/drone music. >>1887 If I remember right this game follows the annoying modern indie trend of not explaining anything in the course of the regular game and instead hiding the story in cryptic pieces in secret areas, so if you're committed to appreciating the plot you'll be scouring the world for it.
