The only gacha game I've ever played is Kantai Collection. I started in Autumn 2014. Four and a half years is a long time to be playing this game, but I had many breaks that lasted several months each, so combined with my aversion to grind my naval base is quite underpowered. The events I participated in were: Winter 2015, Spring 2015, Summer 2015, Summer 2016, Fall 2016, Summer 2017, Fall 2017, Winter 2018, Early Fall 2018 and Winter 2019. I didn't finish all of them. I think my biggest "achievement" was being able to get Iowa in Winter 2018. She was the final reward for Spring 2016, which was considered one of the hardest events in the game's history, and Winter 2018 was the only time afterwards when she became available. I also managed to construct Yamato and complete my pool of LSC ships recently. I don't really have a waifu, but the game has a "provisional marriage" mechanic and gives you one item required for it for free, so I decided to marry my first battleship, Kirishima. She really carried me throughout much of the early game, so I thought it was only fair I showed my gratitude somehow. For anyone who might be thinking about registering an account: this game doesn't require you to spend a lot of money (which is part of the reason why I'm playing it), but it does require time and dedication. You don't roll for girls with in-game currency purchased with real money, instead you collect resources (fuel, ammo, steel and bauxite) and then spend them on either construction or battles and hope for a good drop. Each player has a limited amount of slots and it's impossible to acquire further girls past it: this amount is 100 for new players. You can increase it by purchasing slot expansions which give 10 additional slots for 1000 yen each. Generally speaking, you might be able to play for about half a year before slot requirements start becoming tight. By that time you've already seen enough of the game to know if it's a thing for you and decide if you want to spend money on it accordingly.

i used to be against gacha games, well, mobage in general, but then someone introducted me to girls frontline and i thouhght i might enjoy that gameplay somewhat resembling advance wars or sth ended up logging everyday, it's been several months now and it's the only mobage i've ever stick so long to i have several girls i like, g11 is really qt but hk416 is also neat... i'm fond of many designs in gfl, really; and i'm still waiting to drop suomi didn't spend any real money on gfl and don't plan to, but i really appreaciate what devs are doing, events, localization and all that soykaf makes me stick to this game also i never expected the story to be so... heavy?

I play a few gacha games or games with gacha elements on my phone. Dream Girlfriend, Starlight Stage, Hesokuri Wars and recently I've been playing Bang Dream. Though out of all the games the most gacha like one is definitely Dream Girlfriend. Do nothing but little quests or events to get gacha coupons so you can roll some clothing for your girl. It's also the one I play the most though because aside from that, it feels like a girlfriend tamagotchi. Rhythm gacha games are the most engaging and I really enjoy them. Hesokuri Wars is just fujoshi bait tower defense and their gacha is really money hungry.

My poison of choice is SINoALICE, a gacha with characters based on different fairy tales written and directed by Yoko Taro from Drakengard/NieR. Still waiting for English release so I can throw away money on it. I've wasted like 12 rolls on the new fuarrrked up Alice version and I still can't get her. Nier is my waifu.

I would play gacha games more often if all the good ones weren't always on line (azur, frontline, destiny child) if anyone knows of any good offline alternatives, please let me know.

>>2233 Not a gacha game per-se, but I'd recommend you Tasokare Hotel. It's a mix between Visual Novel and Point-and-click adventure with a really nice story IMO. Can be played completely offline, with optional cosmetic gacha stuff. I really liked it when I played it tbqh.

I used to play KanColle, but gave it up a few years back. Girls Frontline is top tier though, its my new addiction.
