Mindless Bullshit Games?

I used to listen to a lot of music while just mindlessly wandering around a friend's minecraft server and occasionally talking to people. It was good because it was something to do but it didn't take too much attention away from the music. Problem is, that server hasn't existed for a while now and I'm not really sure what to replace it with. I tried skillsurfing but it's not really my thing. Anyone have a good suggestion?

I used to do the same on Garry's Mod servers. More specifically darkRP servers. You should try it.

starbound is good for this, although the public multiplayer aspect isn't as popular. the end game isn't particularly well balanced, so if you have a high level character you can just jet around between planets and wander the surface level for easy loot.
