Does anyone know what the fuarrrk this game is? Seems like they were working on a new Fallout game and then decided (or were told) halfway through development to make a another fuarrrking battle royal game. But what they're saying about how it works doesn't seem to make sense. It seems like a combination of destiny and fortnite, which makes my blood curdle.

Does anyone have any good sources or interviews about this? The best one I could find (linked above) seemed to rely on an interview with an Italian site that someone on reddit translated, so I don't trust it all too much.
Please give your best theories and takes or just some good old-fashioned new vegas soykafposts to make me feel better.
