Any Lainons interested in 40k? We may discuss the Grim Darkness of the Far Future here, as well as releated topics, such as armies, fluff, videogames, fan projects and so on. Yes, this does include TTS . No, spamming quotes is NOT funny. I trust my fellow lainons to restrain themselves.
Also, does anybody have a copy of Rogue Trader and associated rulebooks? I can't find them anywhere.

The Tau are a morally good society in WH40K and no amount of backpledding, ret-conning, and pandering to people who demanded that they had to be grimdarked up so they'd be just like everyone else will make me think otherwise.
Tau V1: Equalitarian socialist meritocracy albeit with a caste system, and the seemingly only non-xenophobic nation in the galactic, allowing all species into their culture
Tau V2: lolno now it's all mind culture and sterilisation because V1 was too uplifting

Well, Tau V1 ARE inconsistant with the rest of the setting. OTOH, it's 40k: nothing is consistant ever.
Besides, the comparison point is the wretched hive of scum and villany that is the Imperium, so anything looks good.
The comparison I REALLY want to see is Tau vs Interex. That would be interesting.
