Dear anonymous online diary,
today I realized the metaphor for my biggest struggle that I couldn't even put my finger on for many years.
The metaphor is, "they would try to peel the real me off my skull by treating real me as a some kind of mask"
They would grab my head/my face, proclaim "Let's see who hides behind that mask!", and pull my face. Violently.
They would hear me scream in hurt.
They would only pull harder all while assuming some kind of jig is up.
Then I would snap because it hurts and they would scream "WHAT IS WRONG WITH U 0_0 T_T OAO?!?!".
Despite being divorced, both my parents were able to PULL it on me,
* my mother would doubt my teen thoughts by PULLing a "You had a chatter with yoru father, didn't you?!" question whenever my topics were a bit uncomfortable
* my father would PULL a speech how my mother made me a crazy person whenever I tried to discuss my hunches with him.
And now I *indeed* have problem being a two-faced bastard as a result
I have my "normal face" fuarrrkING FLAPPING in the wind, with grim-looking skull poking underneath (metaphorically saying).
NOW I have a problem of my unlively leather face unnaturally taped to the rest of my head.
At this point, I am just going to accept it and drink some magnesium.
TL:DR
the "Let's see who hides behind that mask!" phrase comes from 1960s "Scooby-doo"
The people who were around me would asume I am some dramatically masking con from 1960s cartoon rather than a living breathing being. Ended up having my own face TURNED into some leather mask
